How it works

01
Join as a member
Purchase your annual membership to access all season events. Event fields are limited by course capacity and fill fast. Early registration is essential.
02
Compete in your flight
Players divided into four flights by GHIN handicap index. Pacific flight competes gross. Sierra, Canyon, and Desert compete net at 95%. Every flight plays for the same prize money.
03
Earn points all season
Every event earns season points. Top 8 per flight qualify for the year-end major — double points, elevated prizes, and the season title on the line.

Why Valar exists.

Four years ago I picked up a golf club and never put it down. It became my passion, my obsession, one of my biggest priorities in life — don’t tell my girlfriend that.

From day one I wanted to compete. The goal was always to go pro. In 2023 I hit the competitive golf world hard and got humbled fast — dead last in my very first event. I came back in 2024 a different player. I won the same qualifier I finished last in the year before. Then I won the Pasadena City Championship — even after making a 9 on a par 4 on the final day.

Walking down the 18th fairway I was in tears. Years of hard work, of early mornings and quiet rounds and hard losses, and it had all paid off in one moment. One of the best days of my life.

Then I watched the scratch group collect their trophies and their prize money and walked back to my car with nothing. No trophy. No cash. Not even a handshake. Just a quiet drive home with nothing but my thoughts.

That car ride is where Valar Golf Collective was born.

Serious amateur golfers in California deserve more than a quiet car ride home. They deserve real stakes, real prizes, and a league that treats their game with the respect it deserves.

Compete for something real.
